Sanchez takes Rodgers' 'GQ' jabs in stride

GQ's current cover story featuring Jets QB Mark Sanchez initially caused a stir amid Sanchez's remarks that he wanted to fight coachRex Ryan last year.

However Sanchez did not regard Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' remarks on the spread as fighting words.
"Look at this -- that's embarrassing," Rodgers said of the article, which depicts Sanchez modeling high-end clothing, on ESPN Milwaukee.
"This is not really my style. ... I like my anonymity; I like my privacy; I like being able to be the quarterback during the week and, in the offseason, just be able to do what I want to do and not have to be in the public eye."
Rodgers took playful issue with one shot of Sanchez in tight white pants, the same ones that drew heat from his Jets teammates last month. C Nick Mangold said they appeared "painted on."
Sanchez took Rodgers' quotes in stride as he does the frequent jabs he takes in his own locker room.
"I think he was, obviously, making a joke out of it, and that's fine, giving me a good ribbing like the guys on our team," said Sanchez.
